Finn: Earth’s Final Adventurer is a 2D video game platformer, where players take on a journey with Finn, a young astronaut returning to Earth from his Mars colony in search of supplies. However, upon his return, Finn realizes that Earth is in a state of environmental disarray, far worse than he remembers. The mission of the game is to help Finn collect the necessary supplies while learning about the disastrous effects of climate change, pollution, and other environmental health issues that have made the planet unsuitable for human life. Through Finn's journey, players will gain a deeper understanding of the importance of preserving our planet and the actions we can take to make a positive impact.

Meet the Team!
The creation of Finn was a team effort between myself and my project partner/close friend, Emilie Geibel. Within making Finn, My primary focus was on creating the visual backgrounds and atmospheric programming. I specifically worked with the needed camera angles, light particle movement, and rain generation to make the game-world feel more alive and realistic. The use of audio effects was also essential in creating an engaging experience, such as the sound of wind and other ambient noises. Emilie on the other hand focused on creating visually appealing character designs and smooth animations that would bring Finn to life, making the playable motions of Finn feel fluid and natural.
